Out oF TimE mAnAgemEnt Dae...

I m on noon shift todae.. upon starting to do changing pamper, there's a patient collapse just after not ago me n my friend change her pamper... oh goodness!! den code blue activated!! I saw doctors, staff nurses n nyp year 3 students nurse was also surround her.. n together with e emergency trolley.. n luckily managed to save her.. although during my shift, her oxygen level is nt gd.. keep floating around 60% to 75% which e normal range is 95% to 100%.. den her blood pressure even bad.. keep floating around 70/40 to 75/50.. which normal person is about 110-120/60-80... den my poor staff nurse, can see tat she is real stress up.. have to keep close monitoring this patient.. n meanwhile, one of my patient nearly collapse!! but only her oxygen level is quite low.. about 60% to 85% like tt.. but her blood pressure n pulse is ok.. but she is gettin cold n clammy.. aiyo.. also no response from her le.. so sad.. den todae also "vomitting" day.. cuz 5 patients keep vomitting.. one after another.. den i of cos busy collecting her vomitus to rubbish lor.. haiz.. poor thing also.. n plus call bells keep calling also.. one after another.. n end up unable to complete my assigned work in time.. cuz usually after dinner time is the time to take patient blood pressure, temp n pulse.. BUT!! busy answering call bells!! den see my senior already doing rounds of changing le.. den realised tat my work was jammed up!! but luckily one of senior helped me do some changings.. den another senior helped me to do parameters... really thanks them alot.. haiz.. think back of it.. i hradly will get jammed up de.. really sressed sia.. n is really challenging lor.. really must have good time management!! if nt our work will sure jammed up.. n also have to used to it of the changing of cubical always.. especially in tis ward, e ward sister likes to assign us to different cubical everydae.. but their reason will always be "students needs to know different kind of cases everydae"... blah blah... haiz.. think of it.. really missed ward 4 alot sia..

n ya.. just now sister pauline asked me whether am i sponsored by hospital anot.. i said yes n ask her why.. so she said if i m nt sponsored den she would recommend me to take up the sponsorship... wow.. i think i m quite recognise by ward sister ba.. at least it shows my performance also.. n it boost my confidence again..

den finally, 9PM le.. finally a day had pass.. now feeling tired n stress also.... haiz.. but never mind.. i m sure i can do better n always improve de.. nursing really cultivate me a lot of things..
