Haiz.. disaster day...

I have got a patient who is forever non-compliant.. mean don wish to follow e instructions given by the doctors and nurses... Then a drama happen during my noon shift... Happened that this patient wanted to watch television at the tv lounge so i went to lobby and get a wheelchair for her.. she was on oxygen too.. but me n my colleague felt that she looks fine and fit for watching television for a while without oxygen.. so we went ahead to transfer her from bed to wheelchair.. around 10 minutes, while i was taking some warm water from a water dispenser at the tv lounge, i saw her somehow sleeping n not watching tv.. so i called upon her and she mumbled a few words and close her eyes again.. initially i tot she might be just sleeping but when i called upon her a few times she was unresponsive.. so i quickly shouted for my colleagues that bed12 was unwell.. and true enough she was having silent heart attack when we do a ECG strip for her.. she was very drowsy but able to response when her relatives talking to her.. and when i was about to finish my duty, she was fully awake... den here she comes again asking for porridge and milo... well.. doctor approved for fluids only cuz we afraid of other complication like lung aspirations... but still, patient was very non-compliant... keep asking e relative for food.. really makes us nurses difficult to decide whether patient can or not.. the risks of letting patient to consume food... haiz...!!!!!! though we went all effort to explain to the relatives but still they want to give her.... really hor.. to them is cruel not to let their loved ones to eat, for us is we afraid patient may choke as the risks of food gettin into lungs are high especially she is quite weak...

Felt quite pissed off by 2 youngs boys!! cuz they thought and thinks that eating porridge is very normal n fine for patient.. and one of the boy actually gives attitude to my senior staff nurse saying that she is nagging.. in my mind, i really felt like telling them to study bout BIOLOGY pls!! GrrrRrrrr....

It seems that i mostly witnessed those almost collapsed case but not to collapsed case... but sooner or later, i will be exposed ba..

My feeling toward the work today is HAIZ!!....

well... going to be monday soon.. n i get to see her soon!!!.. hurray... cant help being excited and motivated again... will be filled with lurves again.. keke... muacks....
