My 3rd week at ward 3!!

Well, time flies... :)

Today was a good day because i was not called by my lecturer... YEA!! haha.. Because most of the time i am occupied with one of my patient in an isolation room. He has cancer of oesophagus(our food pipe before reaching to stomach). So my staff nurse asked me to supervise his feeding to avoid choking. Mr Yu could eat, drink and talk with nt much of voice produced... And he shared with me something very exciting!! He told me he saw white hair and i asked who is that white hair? He said is Jesus!! So i asked him how do you know is Jesus?? Mr Yu simply said I just know. Well, this is the work of the holy spirit to reveal the truth when ppl get to see Jesus as real, vision or dreams and etc.. In the vision, Mr Yu wasnt asleep becuz he couldn sleep and saw Jesus simply with his eyes opened. And that's happen a year ago. He didnt shared with anyone so i am the 1st to know!! No wonder in the 2nd week of posting when i saw Mr Yu, one of the staff nurse said he could go off anytime, i sense that God wants me to talk to him. I hestitated becuz last week i was quite occupied with work. And thank God that his life has being sustained!! I guess probably God is giving Mr Yu an opportunity.... Mr Yu told me he heard about Jesus story before but dont know why does he need to receive Him. And i simply tell him "because Jesus loves you and he wants to bring you back to Heaven one day when you leave this earth." He went silent and proceeding his breakfast. I went through with Mr Yu on how to receive Jesus by prayer and i simply utter the sinners' prayer. Of cos i did asked him again whether want to receive Jesus, he said no. But i didnt give up, i know God has his ways. I will try again tmr!!....

My prayer:
Father, Mr Yu is precious to you and I know you are the one that sustains his life till now. It is your grace and mercy that brought him thru... Thank you Lord that I can be used by you to share with him about your love and message personally to Mr Yu. May you speak to his heart desire and your Holy Spirit to convict him to accept Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior. Salvation belongs to you only. Only you have the power to save him. I am ready as your servant to lead him to receive Jesus. I hope for tomorrow Mr Yu would want to pray and asked you to enter his life and giving him eternal life and forgive his sins. Lord, I am excited for you!! I committed Mr Yu, myself unto thy loving hand. Here Am I, use me. In Jesus most precious name, Amen!!!

Another interesting thing is that... another of my patient told me his sixth sense tells him that i would be a doctor in the future!!... wahaha... I am so shocked!! Even though i know it might not happen but i am encouraged in a special way today. My patients are the channels that God choose to use them to encourage and brighten up my day. I am so blessed! Thank you Lord. Indeed you have heard every prayer that i've uttered.

The JOY of the LORD is my strength!! How true it was.... :D
