Last blogged @ 3/23/2010 04:09:00 PM An update..... On Monday went for a breast lump removal operation in day surgery clinic. The operation was fast and successful. But the side effects of general anaethesia was very bad because I kept vomitted for about 12 in total.... Are all gastric juice because I was instructed to keep Nil By Mouth from 12midnight onward. It was a terrible feeling.... ezzzz...... I cant imagine if i were alone at the day surgery ward..... Thanks God that Ben was with me throughout as He took leave to accompany. So sweet of him. With him around, things seems better even though i was puking away.... After which i was discharged. But hours later, i started to shiver and developed high fever of 38.8! My face was so red and feels burning. So Ben again took me to AH A&E to see doctor.... Thanks God again that it is not my operation site that causes the infection and fever.... But because on last friday, I already had fever and it just came back... It is viral fever.... And i though it healed so i didn take the medications. So now i learnt a lessson, must take the medications at least for a week so that the fever will completely gone.. And thanks God that my appetite was back!! I started to get hungry and craving for food.... keke....
Finally the lump is removed and i can lived with ease. When the operation ended and i was pushed to recovery room, and I started to utter thanksgiving unto God. After I finished, I heard Jesus speaking to me very clearly: :You're a brave girl". And i smiled. Imagine i was still grogy as i still having the general anaethesia.... As i recalled, i really thanks God for being with me and amazingly i have total peace throughout the process.... many people prayed for me.. My cell members prayed and Ben prayed for me in his car. I encounter God grace and love once again.. It was so sweet... And yes, i got a 2 weeks hospitalization leave!!! Hurray!! It is my longwaiting "vacation" after my prcp... So everything is in good timming... Actually i am entitled to have 14 days annual leave but seeing my nursing officer pattern, i surely wouldn be able to take 14 days leave before i resume my SN role... so i regard this hospitalization leave as my annual leave... haha... finally rest for a while... and also my right hand couldnt lift more than 2kg objects... And all my patients are more than that... sometime i even have to change diaper alone if the patient can help me... So requires a lot of physical strenous. All right, that's all for the update.... Thank you faithful readers... God blesses you with good health... And His presence be with you! |
